Safety Information

Some important points to remember:

• Plan the display layout in daylight
• Obtain the necessary stakes for shot tubes and larger fireworks
• Have an electric torch for use in the dark
• Keep the number of operators to a minimum
• Decide on who will do what

Setting up the site

• Place rockets to the rear of the firing site
• Roman candles, mines and shot tubes to the middle 
• Smaller fireworks should be placed at the front

 What the catergories mean

• Category 1 fireworks are suitable for indoor use
• Category 2 fireworks are garden fireworks and require a 5-8 metres safety distance depending on the suplier
• Category 3 fireworks are display fireworks and should be viewed from a minimum of 25 metres
